Macrocidal Indications
Treatment and prevention of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and of air sacculitis caused by strains of Mycoplasma gallisepticum Broiler chickens, future breeder, breeder hens. Broiler turkeys and breeder turkeys.
Prophylactic medications are recommended at :-
- First 3 weeks of life
- 3-5 weeks of age for broiler
- At expected stress periods (vaccination, transportation)
Macrocidal Dosage and mode of administration
12.5-25 mg of tiamulin /kg Bwt/day/ 3-5 days equivalent to 1-2 ml macrocidal/ L drinking water
plus 0.5 ml macrocdial sweetener / L drinking water
Macrocidal withdrawal period
- Meat: 6 days.
- Eggs: zero days.
